Why this run matters

Compassion first. The goal is tangible support - for people who never chose a cancer diagnosis.

One day. One long road.

On May 11, 2026, Samm completed 251 kilometers - from his front door in Stratford, Ontario to the Tobermory pier, through the Bruce Peninsula.

Two lifelong friends will join to support and document the journey while traveling in an RV along the route.

100% to three charities

  • London Health Sciences Centre – Cancer Program
  • Stratford General Hospital (ER)
  • Wellspring Stratford Cancer Centre

A GoFundMe launched with an initial goal of $4,500 and has now raised over $35,000. Every dollar is split evenly between these three organizations.

Simon: “People with cancer didn't choose this. That's what motivates me.”
